R&MS welcomes Dr Amy Pai

Retina & Macular Specialists is proud to announce the addition of Dr Amy Pai.

Dr Pai is a highly qualified, professional and caring ophthalmologist with sub-specialty training in medical retina, uveitis and cataract surgery.

After completing specialist qualification in Australia (FRANZCO) and a PhD in Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney, Dr Pai undertook further sub-specialty training in medical retina and uveitis at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. She also trained in blepharoplasty at the National Taiwan University Hospital.

Dr Pai has been recognised for her research with many prestigious awards including the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) postgraduate scholarship, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) travel grant, Westmead Charitable Trust Travel Scholarship, and RANZCO industry sponsored scholarship. She has published in many peer reviewed journals and is a clinical associate lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Dr. Amy Pai is fluent in Mandarin, and speaks some Cantonese and Japanese. She understands the importance of listening to her patients needs and takes pride in caring for them.
