The doctors at Retina and Macula Specialists have world-class qualifications and are recognized as experts in their field. All have completed five-years of Australian training in ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital, receiving the fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO). Following this they all underwent multiple years of international fellowship training in retinal diseases at prestigious institutions including: Moorfields Eye Hospital (London), Bristol Eye Hospital (Bristol), Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital (New York), Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia), Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (Miami) and the University of British Columbia (Vancouver).
Our doctors are leaders in the management, research and teaching of retinal diseases. They are lecturers at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University, and hold public hospital positions at Sydney Eye Hospital and Concord Repatriation Hospital.
